Cultural Arts Chicago Trip

The Art Club and Spanish Club have been busy planning a day full of cultural activity in Chicago.  

 

There are 38 spots available for members. 

It will be FIRST COME FIRST RESERVED!! 

 

Date of trip:  Tuesday, May 14th 

Return this slip along with $40 to Mrs. Gross or Senor Collar by Friday, April 12th.

 

Cost:  $40 will cover cost of train ticket, transportation around Chicago, Chicago River Architecture Exploration Cruise, Navy Pier, admission into the Museum of Contemporary Art, The Smith Museum of Stained Glass and an all you can eat Spanish meal at Café Ba-Ba-Reeba. 

Make checks payable to JC Schools. (Bring extra money for souvenirs and snacks.) 

 

Itinerary:  

5:00AM Leave JC upper parking lot for Amtrak in Milwaukee 

(bring a sack lunch to eat en-route.)

6:15 AM Depart Milwaukee Amtrak Station

8:00 AM Arrive in Chicago 

9:00AM Visit the John Hancock Observatory 

10:00 AM            Museum of Contemporary Art

12:00 AM Depart for Café’ Ba-Ba-Reeba

12:30-2:00 PM All you can eat lunch at Café’ Ba-Ba-Reeba

2:00 PM Meet/Depart for Navy Pier  

3:00  PM Board the boat for a Chicago River Architecture Exploration Cruise

4:00-6 PM Explore Navy Pier and The Smith Museum of Stained Glass

6:00PM Meet/Depart for Amtrak Station

8:05 PM Depart for Milwaukee

9:34 PM Arrive Milwaukee Amtrak – home to JC around 10:00 PM
